What will you do?
During your first year, you’ll work on a lot of initiatives and operational challenges.
Acting as People point of contact for your colleagues in our offices in Apeldoorn, Amsterdam and Sao Paulo
Providing advice, guidance and coaching to our team leads in all kind of People related aspects (e.g. recruitment, talent development, compensation, benefits, employment law)
Manage the recruiting and hiring process.
Taking care of operational tasks, such as absence and running our feedback cycle.
Identify people challenges and trends and work together with your colleagues to tackle them.
And don’t forget these initiatives:
Implement and monitor our new feedback cycle and train your colleagues how to receive and give feedback.
Design an amazing introduction program for new Jexians.
Come up with initiatives to strengthen our employer brand and bring the best talent on board.

How does a day look like?
Tuesday morning, 9 a.m. You have a meeting with the Development team lead to talk about new positions for a back end developer and a QA lead. You discuss the job requirements and give advice about the best hiring sources and set out the timeline. After the meeting, you quickly check in with the Marketing team about the progress of the new careers page and give a couple of applicants a call to discuss their profiles.
After the team lunch, it’s time for your weekly catch up with the management team. You explain your proposal for a company-wide feedback workshop and bring the team up-to-date with the latest changes in employment law. At the end of the day, you join the monthly company meeting where everyone gets an update about company topics and new projects. You give a short presentation about the new HR information system that you just implemented and close the day with a drink with your colleagues.
What do we ask of you?
You have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as HR generalist in a fast-paced environment (preferably tech startup or scale up).
You hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
Running a project independently is what makes you tick.
You’re fluent in Dutch and English.
You’re forward-thinking, ready to challenge the traditional HR viewpoint and you don’t need a corporate culture or structure to thrive.
You love to come up with new strategies to improve our overall employee experience.
